Industrial Training for Maintenance and Engineering

Industrial training builds reliability into your process automation.

IIoT is just one apple on the Industry 4.0 apple tree.

Industry 4.0, IIoT Implementation...

Industry 4.0 in USA = 'Smart Factory' , 'Connected Enterprise' , etc.

IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) is the application of Internet of Things (IoT) to the industrial sector such as manufacturing and process control. While in the consumer market IoT focus largely on appliances sharing data via the internet, IIot in the industrial sector focus largely on smart sensors sharing data via the internet. But IIoT goes further with machine to machine communications and big data analysis.

A nonprofit Industrial Internet Consortium was founded in 2014, to focus on creating standards that promote open interoperability and the development of common data and machine communication architectures.

Industry 4.0 revolution (and 'Smart Factory' and 'Connected Enterprise' and 'Advanced Manufacturing Partnership', etc.) are holistic programs containing several industry advances. One of which is IIoT, but also includes 3D printing, Vision Systems, DMDII, Intigrated Circuit and Power Grid advancements, National Robotics Initiative, National Nanotechnology Initiative, IMCP, NEI, Sustainable Manufacturing, Manufacturing Extension Partnership and more.

"In 2011 President Obama announced the formation of the “Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (AMP), a national effort bringing together industry, universities, and the federal government to invest in the emerging technologies that will create high quality manufacturing jobs and enhance our global competitiveness.” [http://manufacturing.gov]

The main barriers to succesful implementation of both IIoT and Industry 4.0 in USA is a must read at http://bin95.com/Industry40inUSA.htm
